We are looking for the right person to join our team as an Internet Marketing & Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have several years of broad internet marketing and business development experience working closely with a sales team or sales engineers. An understanding of business-to-business marketing, campaign creation using SEO techniques including PPC, marketing automation tools, lead scoring and analytics tracking is imperative.
The Internet Marketing Manager is responsible for increasing the existing customer base for the company by locating and qualifying new prospects and generating interest in the company’s services and products. The right person will be able to use their experience in B2B Internet marketing to develop and nurture the sales pipeline to effectively deliver qualified prospects directly to sales.
Duties & Responsibilities
? Enhance the company’s Internet presence and campaign development to drive qualifies prospects
? Identify new marketing and branding channels and opportunities and ensure that the company is a “fast follower” of new ideas and trends
? Manage web analytics and online/offline PR
? Design and launch e-mail campaigns
? Execute on page and off page SEO strategies
? Social media management: Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, Twitter, and YouTube
? Prospect and qualify new business development and sales opportunities
? Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations
? Receive requests for service and products details from prospects and provide timely responses
? Manage and attend local business events, trade shows, conduct webinars and engage in PR through online and traditional channels
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
? Hand off qualified prospects to Sales Engineer
? Manage marketing automation system
? Develop in-depth knowledge of the service offerings and how it relates to customer’s needs
? Create integrated campaigns that are focused on internet marketing but include support from direct mail, networking, webinars and seminars
? Results oriented to drive conversion success
Job Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
? Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B Internet marketing
? Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
? Technical marketing skills; Experience with small business internet marketing is preferred
? Demonstrated expertise and ability in all facets of online marketing including SEO, PPC, and Social Media
? Experience marketing technology services to small business a plus
? Proven track record of prospecting, qualifying, and managing customer commitment
