Unfortunately congressional phones lines are often busy and voicemail boxes are full so many people may become discouraged and give up. A new app, called Stance can help overcome these obstacles so your voice can be heard by your elected officials.
Stance allows you to record messages for your respective representatives, then delivers them at night when phone lines aren’t as busy. The app will keep calling back until your message is successfully delivered. Once you’ve recorded your message, Stance publishes it online, allowing you to share the recording on social media to inspire like-minded people to join your cause.
Since the app was launched in early March, Stance has delivered more than 700 voicemails to 51 senators and 81 hours members. Stance helps ensure your voice is heard and with all of the pressing matters at hand, your opinion matters.
