How to Arrange Desktop Icons Automatically in Windows

If youwindows tips are like most people, you probably have a large number of icons on your desktop. As they accumulate it can sometimes be difficult to keep them organized so you can easily find the one you need.  To help with this problem, Windows offers an auto arrange feature.

To enable auto arrange, right click on any unused area of the desktop, select View from the menu and then select Auto Arrange Icons. This setting is a toggle, meaning you can turn it off and on by using these same steps. As desktop icons are added or removed, your other icons automatically reorder themselves in alphabetical order by icon name.
