The Launch Pad founder and CEO, Ilene Rosoff has been named to the CRN 2014 Women of the Channel list, and has been recognized as one of this year’s inaugural Power 50 Solution Providers. The annual Women of the Channel list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel. The Power 50 honors an elite subset of female executives at solution provider organizations who are extending their respective company’s sphere of influence as trusted advisers.
Founded in 1992, The Launch Pad has successfully navigated the fast-paced technology industry, emerging as a leader in providing IT & Web services to businesses. In addition to establishing herself as an industry leader, Rosoff is recognized for her contributions to a number of community and women’s causes including the Bay Area Search and Rescue, Boys and Girls Clubs and Easy-to-GreenIT™ which includes a community outreach program GreenBack™ to recycle gently used computer equipment to local nonprofits.
“We are seeing a steady increase in the number of female executives making their mark in the solution provider community,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “The new Power 50 list shines a spotlight on both their contributions as individuals and the importance of the solution provider role in the success of their clients. We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success.”
“I feel incredibly fortunate and greatly honored to be part of a community of vibrant women who have devoted themselves to the pursuit of building good business, good organizations and good community,” says Rosoff.
